Meet our friendly staff...

Dal Lockwood
After working in management positions for Sears Canada and owing several retail stores, Dal purchased the newly started Cruise and Vacations Group. With a small customer base he proceeded to build the business using the internet, mail and word of mouth into one of the most successful travel agencies in BC.

Pearl Lockwood
Pearl worked in retail stores and Sears Canada's credit department where she honed her organizational and accounting skills. Thanks to Pearl each customer file is double checked for accuracy and the many government regulations are audited for compliance. She makes sure each customer's funds are kept in trust and passed on the suppliers in a timely manner.

Tara Trodd
Coming from a retail management environment Tara has proven to have exceptional organizational and customer service skills. She works in the office full-time and not only provides customers with great travel advice, but she also assists in the many administrative tasks that must be done each day. Tara has also been certified as a Carnival Cruise Line Specialist.

Tammy Raats
As a busy hockey mom, Tammy knows how to multi-task. Her first travel experience was a poorly planned honeymoon on the wrong cruise. Realizing that she could do better than her travel agent made her seek a job in the travel business. Besides arranging trips to hockey tournaments and car racing events, Tammy has become a Disney specialist with many trips to the Disney theme parks. Tammys personal travel experience allows her to provide great advice on both Disney trips and cruising.

Mitch Williams
We often joke that we got Mitch with the business! Mitch had recently retired from a management position with Kraft Foods when he decided that he would like to travel for pleasure instead of work. He started with the original owners of the Cruise and Vacations Group working on arranging trips for himself and his family. Soon friends and neighbours started asking him about places he had been and for advice on their travel plans. The rest is, as they say, history.

Diana Armstrong
Shortly after taking over the Cruise and Vacations Group we realized that a key to our success would be quality employees. Diana was recommended to us by a mutual friend, and she has been with us ever since and now acts as our sales manager. Diana is a Disney expert and has certification from the Disney Cruise Line, Disney Adventures and all of the Disney Parks. She is also an annual pass holder and takes two or three trips per year to keep up with all the upcoming "Magic". Diana can also assist you in finding your dream golf vacation.

Robin Hafey
After a lifetime of business experience, Robin became a world traveler. Before joining the Cruise and Vacations Group he did many cruises including the QE2 world cruise while working with Cunard Cruise Line. Robin has also experienced many of the different cruise lines first hand. He has also stayed in land based vacation destinations and has sailed extensively in various yachts he has owned over the years. Robin holds the "Accredited Cruise Counsellor" certification.

Don Varney
We met Don on a trip to Greece and Turkey. After retiring from school teaching Don had studied cruise sales through one of the cruise only travel companies. Realizing that he was not finding satisfaction in his present position, we offered him the opportunity to join us. Don has been a valuable member of our team since. Don has extensive travel experience and can advise on trips to Mexico, Australia, the Caribbean and Europe.

Heather Forgie
Heather worked for an agency in Vancouver for many years until the owners decided to retire and close the business. She came to the Cruise and Vacations Group with lots of experience advising clients on luxury travel.

Heather Herding
Heather worked as a frontline agent in our agency before leaving to work for a major softwear company based in Boston. After the company reorganized their workforce and moved their staff to Boston, Heather rejoined the Cruise and Vacations Group as a website developer.
